Adult Ice Hockey Scorekeeper for ICAHL

General

Summary

Score keep Adult League Ice Hockey Games at the Ice Centre

  • Age 18+ due to late hours

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Record data from Adult Hockey games on paper and digital
  2. Operate the game clock and penalty times
  3. Track attendance of players, update rosters as necessary
  4. Track essential statistics for players
  5. Play music during stoppages and intermissions
  6. Multitasking with all the above skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. Understand the game of Ice Hockey (rules, statistics, general flow of the game)
  2. Understand referee penalty signals
  3. Clear communication, both verbal and written
  4. Use a tablet and app for digital stats
  5. Have legible writing for paper scoresheets
  6. Great Attendance and Punctuality are mandatory

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

  1. Must be able to work in extreme cold temperatures (heater provided, but it is an ice rink, dress accordingly).
  2. Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends.
  3. Must work without direct supervision and with a great deal of autonomy.

Education/

Experience:

  1. General Ice Hockey knowledge required

About Hyland Hills Parks & Recreation District

Hyland Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District, established in 1955, has the honor of being the first park and recreation district in the State of Colorado. Today, Hyland Hills serves nearly 110,000 residents in a 24 square mile area located in southwest Adams County and including: the areas of Westminster and Arvada located in Adams County; parts of Northglenn, Thornton and unincorporated Adams County; and, the City of Federal Heights.

Hyland Hills further provides a wide variety of sports and recreational programs, before and after school programs, vacation camps, swimming lessons, sports leagues, preschool and much more and all at amazingly affordable cost.

The Hyland Hills Foundation has given thousands of dollars in scholarships to children living in the District to ensure that no child will be unable to participate in District activities due to financial constraints.
