Job Description

This role is responsible for assisting management with the day-to-day operations, vendor recruitment, and vendor compliance.

• Place ads and review online vendor applications for various job posting websites.
• Researches and recruits new vendors locally, regionally, and nationally as needed.

• Maintains a working relationship with vendors to ensure policies are being adhered to and compliance items are up to date.
• Working directly with onboarding, procuring, and maintaining vendor profiles.
• Ensures vendor compliance for insurance, vehicle registration, and licenses.
• Terminating contracts of vendors who are not upholding company policies and procedures.
• Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates.

• Working collaboratively with the Vendor Coordinator team to build and maintain a solid, trusted database of vendors.

Qualifications

Education and/or experience:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year customer service experience
• 1 year experience in high volume recruiting
• Transportation industry experience preferred

knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment

physical requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
