This position is onsite at Bell’s headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Execution & Strategy – Integrated Business Planning (IBP) The IBP Industrial Engineering Specialist supports Integrated Operations (IO) by running manufacturing production simulations, analyzing data, and assisting in developing executable manufacturing and assembly operations. You’ll lead efforts in manufacturing capacity analysis, labor and staffing analysis, rate tooling and capital planning, performance reporting, and business system optimization to support strategic decision making.What you’ll be doing as an IBP Industrial Engineering Specialist:The IBP Industrial Engineering Specialists’ basic responsibility is to collaborate with other manufacturing Integrated Operations (IO) departments, programs, finance, and IT support to execute business objectives and initiatives regarding but not limited to: · SIOP / IBP Supply Analysis & COE Coordination and Capacity Analysis· Performance Reporting, Measurement and Process Development· Enterprise-wide IE Policy and Process Development· SCM Sourcing and Make or Buy Process Coordination· Capacity and Capital Planning & Analysis· Financial Analysis - Business Case, Budget Development & Tracking· Factory Labor Base & Staffing Analysis, Maintenance & Reporting Additionally, this position will assist in the· Partner globally with operations, programs, leadership, and other support organizations to execute SIOP cycles and general enterprise support· Assume project lead roles as required to support efforts to improve process, innovation, and other continuous improvement efforts· Support the development of presentations, strategy, performance metrics and data sets in response to operations and executive level leadership-initiated requests· Assist in the development and training of other industrial engineers and other support personnel throughout the business· Act as Kinaxis Rapid Response - CRP SME through Analysis, Data Management, Maintenance, Authoring, and Training· Support the development and implementation of new software and applications designed to improve shop-floor execution, material requirements planning, and other business operations
Skills You Bring to This Role:· Bachelor’s degree in STEM technical field required. Engineering or Engineering Technology in Systems, Computer, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing production/operations is preferred.· At least 5 years of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations Systems Design, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, or MRP/Master Scheduling experience in the manufacturing industry.· Advanced MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI and/or SQL experience is required· SAP Experience as it relates to complex Bills of Material (BOM) and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) execution is required.· The independent and autonomous nature of this position requires an analytical “out-of-the-box” mindset, with a “go-see” attitude and a strong attention to detail.· Comfort in presenting to all levels of the business, including individual contributors and executive leaders.· Ability to prioritize work, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.· Ability to quickly grasp new concepts when faced with unfamiliar tasks and the ability to work independently and as a contributive team member· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and non‑technical audiences, while building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal and external suppliers· Team oriented w/ ability to both participate and lead medium-large projects through all phases identifying critical paths, developing, and executing work around and or mitigation plans· Proficient writing reports, conducting meetings and using MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)· Experience with Project Management, LEAN, and Six Sigma principles and practical application is preferred.NOTE: Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.What we offer you in return:· You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule· 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)· 120 hours Vacation time· 12-13 paid holidays per year· 6 weeks parental leave· Tuition reimbursement· Competitive salary· Comprehensive health insurance· On-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselor· Access to more than 11 Employee Resource Groups· And so much moreNOTE: Bell/Textron Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.It’s time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
