IBIS Operational Officer

Position: IBIS Operations Officer

Location: Greece, fully remote work from home

Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role

Speedcast is seeking a detail-oriented IBIS Operations Officer to manage the day-to-day operations of our IBIS billing and service provisioning platform. Reporting on all facets of pricing, service and billing management, platform administration, and user support, this role is central to the reliability of our billing ecosystem. The successful candidate will engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth platform operation.

Core Responsibilities

Pricing & Product Management

• Manage all aspects of system pricing plans, including the mapping of pricing SKUs and ongoing maintenance.
• Set up new pricing and fees in line with requirements from internal departments.

Billing Operations

• Manage the end-of-month billing process within the scope of IBIS.
• Serve as subject matter expert and troubleshoot billing-related platform issues and support tickets.

Inventory Management

• Ensure availability of prepaid vouchers, MSISDNs, SIMs/devices, and other service inventory, coordinating with other Speedcast platforms.

Training & Documentation

• Deliver platform training to Speedcast team members.
• Create and maintain platform documentation, process guides, and internal presentations.

Platform Support

• Act as primary point of contact for all day-to-day IBIS issues, including failed activations, CDR errors, mediation source checks, file uploads, and health-check management.

Reporting & Analytics

• Support monthly and ad-hoc reporting, including development of custom reports as identified.

Department Collaboration

• Handle billing-related enquiries from OTC/Finance and implement new functionalities as required.

Access & Governance

• Manage IBIS user accounts and access, including implementation of Single Sign-On (SSO) and other account management.

Quality Assurance

• Perform UAT testing of new billing releases and functionality.

Additional Technical Responsibilities

• Develop internal interfaces/links into IBIS from other Speedcast platforms (e.g., Compass, Dynamics).
• Assist with API requirements development and implementation with the vendor to support future integrations.
• Manage the Speedcast component of IBIS, including backups, UAT testing, rollout planning, version control, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Troubleshoot API and interconnect issues with other internal systems.

About You

The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform operator with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with billing platforms, API integrations, and stakeholder management is highly valued.
