We are seeking a passionate and experienced IBDP English Facilitator to join a prestigious residential IB school in Tamil Nadu. As an IBDP English Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) English curriculum, ensuring high academic standards and student engagement. You will play a key role in shaping students’ analytical, interpretative, and communication skills, preparing them for success in higher education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging and inquiry-driven lessons aligned with the IBDP English curriculum (Language & Literature / Literature).
- Design lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in accordance with IB standards.
- Guide students in developing advanced reading, writing, and critical analysis skills.
- Support students with Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and TOK (Theory of Knowledge) where applicable.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and independent thought.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Participate in curriculum planning, academic meetings, and IB-related training sessions.
- Engage with parents and stakeholders to communicate student progress and development.
- Contribute to the residential school community through extracurricular activities, mentorship, and pastoral care.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of the English language, including literature, linguistics, and academic writing.
- Deep understanding of the IBDP framework, assessment criteria, and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness among students.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency in designing differentiated learning experiences to cater to diverse learners.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for teaching and assessment.
- High level of emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity, especially in a residential setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).
- IB certification or training in IBDP English is highly desirable.
- 7 to 22 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB or international curricula.
- Proven track record of delivering strong academic results in senior secondary grades.
