1.1 Job Scope Summary
Under general supervision, the IBA Operator performs a variety of tasks relating to the overall operation and maintenance of the Incinerated Bottom Ash (IBA) processing plant and the wider waste treatment facility, in accordance with established production schedules and plant throughput requirements.

Waste Treatment FZCO (WTFZCO) is a joint venture between BESIX and Hitachi Zosen Inova to operate and maintain one of the world's largest “Energy from Waste” plants in Dubai. The plant has a treatment capacity of 1.9 million tones a year of municipal waste producing 1.37Gigawatt of energy. In addition, the plant will recover valuable metals which will be re-used for several purposes. Contributing towards a greener, cleaner, and nurturing circular economy.
