Job Description

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Warfighter Requirements Branch Chief and be responsible for collecting inputs throughout the IAMD enterprise and using them to support various processes for senior leader decision-making.
  • Familiarity with the Joint Staff and subject matter pertaining to the requirements in:
    • Capability Portfolio Management Review (CPMR)
    • Program and budget reviews Deliberate,
    • Joint Emergent Operational Need (JEON), and Joint Urgent Operational Need (JUON) processes Capability Gap Assessment (CGA)
    • Congressional reports and testimony
    • JCIDS processes
    • Missile Defense Executive Board processes, including the Operational Forces Standing Committee
    • Joint IAMD Portfolio Priority List (JIPPL)
    • Joint Staff IAMD synchronization
    • Guam Defense System / Defense of Guam
    • Counter-UAS
    • Next Generation Interceptor
    • Glide Phase Interceptor

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree
  • At least ten (10) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area, a minimum of five (5) of which include supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ.
  • Security clearance: Active TS, SCI and SAP eligible.
  • US citizenship required.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $160,000.00/Yr. - USD $192,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
