What You’ll Do
The Identity and Access Management Specialist at Freeman Health System serves as the guardian of staff identity and access, ensuring the protection of critical and confidential information owned or managed by the organization. This role is responsible for account lifecycle management, auditing, and the ongoing maintenance, testing, and optimization of Identity Governance and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The Specialist collaborates with application teams to support the deployment of new applications and functionality, contributes to workflow development, system configuration, and documentation, and ensures compliance by effectively communicating policies and procedures to end users, leadership, and peers. Additionally, the Specialist provides guidance on security best practices based on minimum necessary standards, leads small to medium-scale projects, works independently while supporting team and organizational goals, and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives across Freeman Health System.
Requirements
Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 2 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below:
1 year relevant work experience Software experience: Active Directory, Microsoft O365, ServiceNow or Identity and Access management applications.
Preferred Requirements
Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Microsoft Outlook or Azure, or other IAM tools
