IAM Security Engineer
Help protect Australia's critical energy infrastructure.
At APA,we'relooking for an IAM Security Engineerto join our Cyber Security team and play a key role in securing identity and access across our enterprise.You'llhelpoperate,supportandimproveour Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) capabilitiesunder approved standards and processes,supportingsecure and compliant access to systems,applicationsand data.
Whatyou'llbe doing
Administer and support IAM, PAM and IGA platforms across the business
ManageandsupportuserJoiner,MoverandLeaver (JML) processesincludingaccessrequestsandreviews,accessgovernance,complianceactivities,andprivileged access processes
Troubleshoot and resolveIAM-relatedidentity lifecycle,access request and revalidation, andauthentication and authorisation issuesacross supported IAM services and integrations
Support,maintainandcontribute to improvements forDelineaPAM, Microsoft Entra ID andMicrosoftIdentity Governance services
Automate processes and improve operational efficiency using PowerShell and other scriptingtool
Support integration ofIAMserviceswith enterprise applications, cloudservicesand third-party platforms
Participate in incident response, platform maintenance,upgradesand continuous improvement initiatives
Whatyou'llbring
Tertiary qualifications in IT, CyberSecurityor a related field
Provenexperience in IAM engineering,administrationor service delivery
Hands-on experience with IAM, PAM or IGA technologies in enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft EntraIDand identity infrastructure
Experience troubleshooting authentication,authorisationand access governance issues
Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and/or Python
Experience with Delinea(preferred), CyberArk or similar PAM solutions
Exposure to Microsoft Identity Governance, SailPoint, Okta or equivalent platforms is highly regarded
Excellent communication,problem-solvingandcollaborationskills, with the ability to work with application owners, technologyteamsand end users
