Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant / IAM Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IAM frameworks, access governance, RBAC, SSO, MFA, PAM, and enterprise identity platforms, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to enhance security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements for IAM and IGA solutions.
• Develop policies, processes, and frameworks related to Identity & Access Management, including:
  • Identity lifecycle management
  • Access request management
  • Access reviews and auditing
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
• Assess existing IAM environments and recommend improvements in governance, security, and operational processes.
• Design IAM strategies, architectures, and implementation roadmaps aligned with business and security objectives.
• Define technical and business requirements for IAM and access governance solutions.
• Configure and customize IAM/IGA platforms to align with organizational policies and business processes.
• Implement and manage access control policies, roles, and entitlements across enterprise applications and systems.
• Support implementation of:
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
• Work closely with security, compliance, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate IAM solutions.
• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support to business and technical users.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers regarding IAM-related solutions and support agreements.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and management updates related to IAM initiatives and compliance activities.
• Support deployment, rollout, and transition of new IAM platform features and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT services and information security.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Strong experience with:
  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
  • Azure AD / Entra ID
  • ADFS
  • Office 365
  • Intune / MDM
  • MFA & SSO technologies
• Hands-on experience with IAM/IGA solutions such as:
  • SailPoint
  • Okta
  • ForgeRock
  • BeyondTrust
• Experience with:
  • PAM solutions
  • RBAC and Role Engineering
  • LDAP and Active Directory integrations
• Strong understanding of IAM governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Prior consulting experience and strong customer-facing capabilities are highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
