As IAM Engineering Lead – Privileged Access Management, you will help strengthen the foundations of trust that underpin our business, ensuring the right people have the right access to the systems and services that keep TAL moving safely. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to technology that protects our people, partners and customers, while supporting TAL’s broader purpose of being there for Australians and their loved ones through life’s most important moments.

This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne

In this role you will:

  • Strengthen privileged access controls to reduce risk and improve security outcomes.
  • Lead remediation of control gaps, audit findings and security improvement priorities.
  • Drive automation and self-service solutions that improve efficiency, reliability and service quality.
  • Engineer and govern PAM capabilities that protect privileged identities and elevated access pathways.
  • Embed identity security controls aligned to least privilege, Zero Trust and business needs.
  • Build team capability and partner accountability to deliver sustainable PAM service outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Apply around seven years’ experience across Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management or Cyber Security engineering.
  • Lead engineers, service providers or delivery partners to achieve secure and reliable service outcomes.
  • Use strong knowledge of PAM, identity governance, Zero Trust and modern access controls to reduce risk.
  • Improve security services through control uplift, remediation, automation and practical continuous improvement.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn security risk into business outcomes.
  • Bring a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
