What You’ll Do
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions that align with business needs and security best practices. This role involves developing IAM policies and procedures, managing user onboarding, offboarding, and transfers, and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems. The IAM Engineer collaborates with IT teams, operational departments, and leadership across Freeman Health System to support secure and efficient user access. They work independently and in teams on projects of varying sizes to ensure effective user management and robust access controls.
Requirements
A bachelors degree is preferred, but 4 years of relevant experience in the Information Technology field can be considered instead
At least 2 years experience in Identity & Access Management and two years in a system administrator or application analyst role
Demonstratedcapability and understanding in user access management and governance Demonstrated success training and mentoring others on Active Directory and Identity and Access management tools
Demonstrated success using analytical tools and skills for the development of workflows, system configuration and documentation related to identity and access management
Demonstrated success designing and administrating Identity Management and Access
Demonstrated success leading large scale projects and processes
Preferred Requirements
Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP), Sailpoint Administrator or Engineer level certifications
