
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy secure authentication and authorization solutions using Okta.
Configure and manage Okta integrations with various on-premises and cloud-based applications.
Establish and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Adaptive Authentication policies.
Work closely with IT security to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to Okta configurations and processes.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for Okta-related issues and act as a point of escalation for the help desk team.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure the integrity and security of Okta configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest Okta features and technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Participate in the creation and delivery of Okta training materials for end-users and IT staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Okta or similar IAM platforms.
Knowledge of API usage and management.
Must have Okta certifications (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Consultant).
Experience with directory services such as Active Directory, Entra ID and LDAP.
Knowledge of IT security best practices and familiarity with compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Familiarity with Okta Workflows.
Hands-on experience performing upgrade from Okta Classic version to OIE version.
Experience with other security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
Solid understanding of IAM concepts including identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, and directory services.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation of tasks and integration purposes.
Familiarity with identity standards such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
