Job Description

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling, and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time IAM Analyst in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned expertise in identity and access management to a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.

You'll lead the charge in fortifying our digital identity landscape. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (HR, Sourcing, Master Data managers, IS&T, business representatives), streamline user account lifecycle processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of contributing to IAM workshops, maintaining documentation and processes, and driving continuous improvement in IAM operations, but also troubleshooting and managing issues related to identities, authentication/authorization, and access permissions.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing solutions aligned with our IAM security policy

  • Coordinating with diverse stakeholders on IAM topics

  • Ensuring critical applications are well integrated with robust IAM controls and governance (e.g., access reviews, approval workflows)

  • Monitoring and driving IAM security metrics to provide actionable insights

  • Analyzing internal and external threats and recommending remediation actions

  • Managing and driving critical incidents to closure in compliance with ITIL processes

  • Driving compliance among business, IT, and Security teams to IAM policies, standards, and instructions

  • Collaborating with cross-functional IAM teams to design and deploy monitoring and control systems

  • Maintaining IAM policy and instruction awareness across business, technical, and support teams

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a related field

  • 3-5 years of relevant IAM Security experience

  • Good understanding of IAM domains (SSO, IGA, AD, PAM)

  • Experience with IAM solutions such as Saviynt AAG, Microsoft Azure, or other IAG solutions

  • Proficient hands-on experience with various security tools and technologies

  • Demonstrated drive for continuous learning, results-orientation, and teamwork

  • Professional and concise communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to change, including shifting and competing priorities

  • Good understanding of functional concepts in Identity and Access Management (e.g., workflows, SOD, recertification access, provisioning, auto-correlation access)

  • Ability to work with both functional and technical teams in a dynamic environment

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning

  • Progress towards leadership roles or specialised IAM positions

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
