Job Description

Promote and support the onsite safety program, fostering a strong safety culture and healthy work environment. As a subject matter expert, this role is integral to the organization, enforcing policies, conducting training, inspections, case management, audits, and job safety analysis to ensure compliance. Collaborate with Operations and other stakeholders to reduce injuries and AL/GL claims. Drive process improvements through statistical analysis and root cause identification. Provide site-specific support to management, supervisors, and employees, promoting safety initiatives with the goal of zero injuries.

Essential Functions:

· Execute injury prevention efforts, focusing on unsafe behaviors and establishing safety as a core value.

· Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, training, and meetings to evaluate safety and accident prevention activities.

· Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, ensuring operational compliance.

· Create media to transfer knowledge of safe work practices and regulatory compliance.

· Communicate with Operations regarding safety activities, initiatives, and compliance requirements.

· Manage third-party safety verification documents and data for new and existing accounts.

· Develop and implement data systems for compliance reporting and provide technical support.

· Conduct accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

· Maintain OSHA Recordkeeping compliance.

· Lead safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, training, and meetings in English and Spanish.

Required Qualifications:

1-3 years of progressively responsible positions in Safety and Risk Management.

Qualifications:

· Ability to support a large multi-site workforce.

· Conduct safety audits for large workforces at airports.

· Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations (OSHA).

· Compile technical data and prepare reports and presentations.

· Develop and conduct effective health, safety, and environmental training programs.

· Skilled in project management, problem-solving, and clear communication.

· Direct activities and operations in hazardous situations.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
