This program is designed to upskill and reskill talents into proficient low code developers through close collaboration with our clients' development teams.

Program Overview:

• Intensive Training: Begin with a fully sponsored, intensive 2-week full-time training program on the OutSystems low-code development platform, featuring mentorship from experienced developers and the opportunity to earn your certification.
• Hands-On Experience: Training wouldn’t be complete without hands-on experience. You'll be assigned to a client’s application development project, gaining real-world exposure for the next 12 months, with the potential for full-time direct employment with our clients.

An Outsystems Developer (Associate I) is for fresh grads with relevant IT knowledge, certifications or education.

An Outsystems Developer (Associate II) is for mid career switchers who above 40 years old, may have relevant development experience and are looking to reskill and upskill themselves into low code development applications.

An Outsystems Developer (Associate III) is for traditional developers who are looking to transition into OutSystems with skills such as C# QL, .Net, Javascript, CSS, HTML, RESTful APIs

Requirements

Role: OutSystems Developer

The primary function of an OutSystems Developer will be the development and maintenance of OutSystems-based applications in a fast-paced environment using agile methodologies. The OutSystems Developer will be integrated into a team with other developers and front-end developers, under the supervision of a Tech Lead, and interacting with Product Owners and other stakeholders, both technical and business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and deploy web and mobile applications that solve business challenges.
• Understand business requirements and oversee technical development, configuration, maintenance, and updates
• Master low-code technologies, combined with modern software engineering practices, to develop scalable and efficient applications.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, timelines, and quality processes
• Work as part of a project team to deliver and maintain small-scale enterprise web applications
• Support both internal and external teams in building a user-friendly and adaptable product
• Define or extend the data model of OutSystems applications, ensuring proper referential integrity constraints
• Develop functional components, including UI screens, business logic, and custom UI elements within OutSystems

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in web technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with relational databases like SQL/Oracle
• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable and efficient applications.
• Knowledge of data modeling, including referential integrity and indexing.
• Understanding of basic algorithmic and logical reasoning is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills using relevant technologies.
• Ability to work independently, proactively communicate status and risks, and manage tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with low-code development tools such as Power Apps, Pega, Mendix, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a related field is an advantage.
