As part of our international automation team, you will support the implementation and continuous development of innovative intralogistics and automation solutions across Bosch manufacturing locations worldwide.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Support the end-to-end implementation of automation and intralogistics solutions, including automated warehouse systems, at Bosch manufacturing sites around the globe.
  • Analyze existing logistics and material flow processes and identify opportunities for optimization and digitalization.
  • Collaborate in designing future-oriented "To-Be" processes focused on automated material movement, warehouse operations, and smart factory concepts.
  • Define business and technical requirements and support the integration of automation solutions with IT systems such as SAP EWM and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Participate in testing, validation, commissioning, go-live, and hypercare activities at international production locations.
  • Support the evaluation, piloting, and integration of innovative technologies including Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), robotics, and AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Contribute to the integration of automation solutions within Bosch's global manufacturing ecosystem while ensuring connectivity with adjacent systems and processes.
  • Assist in the product management and continuous development of Bosch's global automation and intralogistics solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept creation and proof-of-concept activities to global rollout.
  • Help define and maintain global automation standards while considering local business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with international and cross-functional teams during project implementation and optimization activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing solutions, identifying best practices, and contributing to Bosch's Industry 4.0 and digital transformation journey.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Initial experience through internships, working student positions, university projects, or first professional roles in automation, intralogistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or digital transformation environments.

Know-how

  • Basic understanding of material flow, warehouse operations, and intralogistics processes.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies such as WCS, AGV/AMR, robotics, or warehouse automation is a plus.
  • Initial exposure to IT systems in manufacturing or logistics environments, such as SAP EWM, WMS, MES, or related applications, is advantageous.
  • Interest in process design, digital transformation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Languages

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
