Clean Harbors Deer Park is searching for a licensed, reliable and safety oriented I&E Technician to join our Deer Park, TX incineration team! The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks & calibrations, troubleshooting, maintenance & repair of motor circuits and control devices using PLC Ladder Logic and test equipment, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Pay, schedule, and testing requirements are governed by the union contract.
Required Credentials (per CBA):
A minimum of TDLR Journeyman Electrician's License (or a higher license) or NCCER Industrial Electrician. For this specific position, we will not be able to accept “TDLR Electrical Apprentice” or “NCCER Instrumentation Technician” as credentials for this facility due to CBA requirements. All credentials will be verified prior to moving forward with our applicant reviewal process. If you do not have the approved credentials, your application will be removed from consideration.
Work Schedule (per CBA):
Rotating shift schedule consisting of 4 day shifts/4 off (on-call), followed by 4 night shifts/4 off (off-call). This role supports a 24/7/365 operation, which includes weekends and federal holidays.
Hourly Wage (per CBA):
$45.23/HR; Additional earnings may include overtime opportunities and other benefits outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
