We are seeking a reliable safety minded Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to join our Fallon, NV team. Youwill be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.
Wage: $36-38hr DOE

Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
Maintains accurate records and logs as required
Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
Services and replaces motors and lighting
Performs general electrical maintenance
On Call required
Other duties as assigned
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
HS Diploma or Equivalent
3-5 years combined of plant experience
Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred
Mechanically inclined
Journeyman Electrician License is a plus
1+ years' experience in DCS systems preferred
1+ years VFD programming experience preferred
Proficient in reading blueprints, electronic schematics and PID’s (process instrumentation diagrams)
480v experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand, stoop, climb and work at heights
