Job Duties / Responsibilities
Review medical histories with patients or their parent/guardian
Take dental x-rays as appropriate
Perform teeth scaling and polishing
Write chart notes and maintain accurate electronic health records
Assist dentists with charting during exams
Obtain parent/guardian consent for sealants and other procedures
Present treatment plans to parents/guardians and obtain consent for procedures
Write referrals and facilitate correspondence with dental colleagues as directed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Support the dental team with other duties as assigned

Requirements
NC Dental Hygienist License
CPR Certification
