Job Description

What are we about?

Are you ready to support Operational Excellence through Hygiene to help us deliver our goal of world-class standards? We’re looking for a Hygiene Technician to take a key role in maintaining food safety, supporting production efficiency, & leading a team of Hygiene Operators on shift. This is more than cleaning — it’s about protecting our people, products, plant and reputation. This shift pattern for this role is Friday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00 and Monday, 06:00 to 14:00.

 Oversee hygiene performance on shift, directing and encouraging Hygiene Operators to deliver high standards

 Plan and delegate tasks, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication

 Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety & quality standards

 Perform high standards of cleaning to support equipment care and cleaning to maintain operational efficiency and product safety & quality

 Support our environmental goals by actively contributing to recycling and waste management programmes

 Support our goal of world-class hygiene through teamwork and innovation

How will you stand out?

 Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within food manufacturing or a similar environment

 A proactive, hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and commitment to continuous improvement

 Demonstrated ability to lead teams and maintain hygiene standards

 Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and GMP

 Able to contribute both alone and alongside others in a team setting

 Comfortable working night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern

 An aspiration to be part of a journey toward world-class hygiene.

 Demonstrates a willingness to Raise the Bar, by seeking opportunities for improvement of our people and processes.

 Have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability work collaboratively with the Team and key Stakeholders.
