The Role
We’re looking to recruit two experienced and motivated Hygiene Operatives into our Hygiene Team, for a varied role that involves the responsibility of maintaining our high site standards. This role includes the cleaning of our manufacturing, warehouse and office spaces in accordance with our Food Safety/Health & Safety/Company procedures/policies. Adhering to daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure all equipment and work areas are tidy, always sanitised and audit ready.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off 10 hour days, 06:00 – 16:00

Ensure all equipment and surfaces meet and exceed hygiene standards, in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
Be proactive in identifying problems and solutions to maintain a high standard of hygiene across the business.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of hygiene activities, contributing to the traceability and transparency of our processes.
Adhere to Health, Safety and Quality requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Accountability – what you are responsible for delivering
· Maintaining hygiene standards to the highest level across site, including manufacturing, warehouse and offices spaces. Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work instructions (WI) are followed correctly, within the appropriate timescales.
· Monitoring and restocking of dispensers, PPE holders and chemicals
· Operation of hygiene equipment, including ride of floor scrubbers.
· Ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulations, to support site standards and targets.
· Completing and ensuring all relevant daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
· In depth warehouse cleaning, including emptying of production bins and cleaning of the bins. Litter picking and cleaning of the yard & perimeter.
· In depth production area cleaning and support.

· Low number of hygiene-related incidents and standard operating procedures being followed, indicating a high level of compliance
· Accurate and up-to-date documentation of all hygiene activities, contributing to transparency and traceability during audits
· Successful completion of internal and external audits with positive feedback, demonstrating adherence to industry standards and regulations
· Efficient execution of hygiene protocols within specified timelines without compromising on quality, contributing to overall operational efficiency

· Experience within a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.

· Good communication and organisation skills, including time management.
· Ability to considers the customer’s needs when prioritising and allocating tasks in the team.
