Working at CorPower Ocean you will be part of a world class team, determined to make big impact. We are on a mission to bring reliable and competitive wave energy to the world. We offer a high degree of autonomy, combined with great personal responsibility. CorPower Ocean is a global leader in wave energy, with a technology that has shown game-changing performance. Your work will contribute to the global transition to renewable energy by unlocking one of the largest untapped sources of clean energy on earth.
We are looking for a Marine Operation Analysis Engineer with a background in hydrodynamics and affinity with naval architecture, to join our Marine Operations team. The focus of the role is our purpose-built USV for WEC installation. You will use hydrodynamic modelling and dynamic analysis to check the feasibility of design concepts, build insight into vessel behaviour, and support design decisions and optimisations as the vessel matures.
Alongside the vessel design work, you will support the planning, analysis and execution of offshore installation, maintenance and retrieval of CorPower’s wave energy converters (WECs) and associated systems, making sure that vessel design and operational requirements are developed together.
This role includes practical exposure to offshore/marine installation analysis using Orcaflex and related tools.
Your personality, experience and interest in the field are the most important and what is most highly valued at CorPower.
CorPower Ocean has a highly diversified team with many nationalities and backgrounds, all working towards the same goal. This is something we are very proud of.

CorPower Ocean designs, manufactures and operates wave energy farms for our customers. The wave farm solution have a unique design inspired by the pumping principles of the human heart, allowing it to survive the toughest storms. Advanced control technology makes the wave energy converters oscillate in optimal timing with incoming waves, strongly amplifying power absorption. This enables high power output compared to the size, weight and cost of the equipment The combination of low costs, high capacity factor and an effective maintenance scheme makes wave power a key tool to accelerate the transition to 100% renewables around the world
