Pay range $21.22 per hour Union Rate

Employment Status: Temporary (May through September 2026)

About this position:

The Hydro Aide will assist the plant personnel in performing routine grounds maintenance and general labor tasks. They will be assigned to clean-up, painting, mowing, weed cutting and other duties. The position may be required to operate mowers and other mobile equipment in addition to using a variety of hand tools. This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive, and will include other reasonable work expectations as assigned. This position is temporary through the summer months usually from mid-May until Labor Day.

About this job:

  • Operate mobile equipment including various types of mowers, and grass trimming equipment, etc..
  • General plant clean-up and organization
  • Cleaning and painting equipment and buildings
  • Use of hand tools
  • Spraying chemicals and other aspects of grounds keeping methods
  • Operate and repair sprinklers
  • Perform individual lifts and manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
