We are currently seeking for a Hydraulic Hose Technician preferably with exposure to all types of mining and construction machinery (e.g. Komatsu and Caterpillar)

THE ROLE :

You will also be responsible to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, maintain hydraulic systems and to manufacture and install hydraulic hoses for Heavy Diesel Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel Road Transport and Heavy Diesel Agricultural Equipment and components.

ABOUT THE JOB :

• A well stocked mobile hose truck with dedicated high quality tooling will be provided

• A great mix of workshop and mobile based work will be offered

• You will Assemble and install Hydraulic Hose, Hydraulic Fittings, and accessories.

• You will engineer fluid transfer solutions including installing and assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses

• You will be experienced at cutting, threading, bending, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines

• You will carry out testing and adjusting of mobile plant hydraulic components and systems to industry standard

• There will be minor or routine auto electrical diagnostic, repair and /or installation work

• You may overhaul hydraulic components including pumps, cylinders, rams, actuators, valves, and controls from time to time

ABOUT YOU : Essential Requirements

•Current LR licence minimum

•Trade qualified Hydraulic Technician with an understanding of hydraulic systems

•Ability to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics

•Able to identify a wide variety of hoses and fittings

•The ability to find fault, repair and employ a good understanding of hydraulic systems

•Adequate written and verbal English communication skills

•Able to carry out site work as required

•Ability to meet deadlines and targets

•Motivated, self-starter and team player

•Mature attitude and ability to work unsupervised
