Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Hydraulic Analysis & Design

  • Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic studies, including river flow modeling, flood simulations, and watershed assessments.

  • Design hydraulic structures such as drainage networks, culverts, canals, spillways, pump stations, and flood protection systems.

  • Perform water surface profile computations, scour analysis, and sediment transport assessments.

  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

2. Technical Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare engineering reports, hydraulic calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Review and validate technical documents submitted by consultants, contractors, or project teams.

  • Present findings, analyses, and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.

3. Project Support & Coordination

  • Provide technical input during project planning, permitting, procurement, and construction phases.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and project management groups.

  • Conduct site inspections to evaluate existing conditions, verify design assumptions, and support construction activities.

4. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure hydraulic designs adhere to national regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.

  • Implement quality control procedures and perform design checks on hydraulic deliverables.

  • Support risk assessments, safety reviews, and environmental impact evaluations.
