What will your typical day look like?
Working across on-premises and cloud environments, you'll manage and uplift Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and core infrastructure services. That could mean hardening systems, improving patching and vulnerability remediation, or supporting hybrid identity integration across Azure AD / Entra and AD Connect.
A big part of the role is helping clients reduce risk in practical, measurable ways. You'll contribute to endpoint management and security tooling across platforms like Intune, SCCM, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, while also supporting incident response activities and feeding operational data and playbooks into SIEM/SOAR processes.
You'll work closely with engineers, stakeholders, and broader delivery teams to solve complex infrastructure and cyber challenges. From scripting in PowerShell to using IaC tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform, this is a role with plenty of variety, technical depth, and scope to mentor junior team members as you go.
