Inizio Engage has a long-standing partnership with a leading research-driven pharmaceutical company, across Commercial, Patient Solutions and Medical Affairs businesses.

The Hybrid Clinical Educator plays an integral role within the Patient Services and Support organization, providing education and personalized support to patients and caregivers navigating treatment with a rare disease injectable therapy.

In this field-based role, the Clinical Educator will use approved materials to provide disease-state and product education, reinforce treatment understanding, and connect patients and caregivers with available support services throughout their treatment journey. Engagement may take place in person, by phone, or virtually, with frequent domestic travel may be required and may fluctuate based on program needs.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver disease state and product education regarding client brands and their approved indication(s) using approved training/education materials to support and empower patients/caregivers as they navigate the treatment journey
  • Educate account nurses and office staff, when requested, on the role and service model of the Clinical Educator to support patients (coordinated with other field-based representatives)
  • Serve as a liaison to access teams and partners to address patient specific needs
  • Contributes to and engages with cross-functional team in a highly integrated way
  • Demonstrates commitment to the regional team by sharing perspectives, territory insight, and recommends strategies to integrate perspectives across patient education solutions
  • Responsible for delivery of approved education programs (in person and webinar) to patients, families, and caregivers
  • Participate in ongoing refinement of patient engagement strategy and educational materials to increase awareness and optimize service offerings
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide appropriate education and support and triages to available resources
  • Complete all requisite training and ensure full compliance with all applicable corporate and industry policies
  • In collaboration with the Corporate Affairs teams, share advocacy insights from regional and local levels
  • Identify, develop, and execute a multidisciplinary team approach for the company/disease to help execute a successful launch

What do you need for this position?

  • Current US RN License
  • Must be fluent in Spanish/English (Written&Oral)
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College is required
  • 5 years of related experience, including supporting patients within Rare Disease
  • 2+ years field-based experience in biopharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering results that meet or exceed targeted objectives
  • Knowledge of insurance and payor landscape and US reimbursement process
  • Prior product launch experience preferred
  • Ability to work quickly and flexibly with resource constraints, exhibiting a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as necessary based on program needs evening and weekend availability will be required and may fluctuate
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, navigate complexity, and be creative and solutions-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • A passion for patient care and exceptional attention to detail of policies and procedures to always ensure zero-exception compliant operations
  • Must have stable, reliable, high speed home internet
  • Must have a designated separate home office space that is quiet and away from distractions

The base pay range for this position is $109K – $202K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
