Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Blantyre Household Waste Recycling Centre with recycling and waste.
Your core responsibilities
Working with the public to maximise recycling on site
Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling
Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times
Being proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment
Our essential requirements
Experience in dealing with the general public
Good people skills
Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential
Will be required to work weekends
Essential
Must have a full UK driving licence
Must have own transport
