Responsible and drive the hardware solution and portfolio strategy for IVI/ADAS/car computer by transforming fragmented technical topics into a structured, standardized, and decision-ready portfolio.

Act as the bridge between technical solution definition and management decision-making, ensuring that hardware topics are not only technically sound, but also prioritized, aligned, and strategically selected across programs.

• Own the end-to-end HW solution portfolio across China IVI/ADAS/car computer topics
• Consolidate fragmented topics into a structured and transparent portfolio
• Ensure visibility of priorities, dependencies, and status

• Develop standardized solution packages, including:
  • Multiple solution options
  • Trade-off analysis (cost / performance / timing / risk)
  • Clear recommendations
  • Cross-carline, cross-generation considerations
• Transform engineering discussions into decision-ready outputs

• Manage portfolio lifecycle:
  • Prioritization
  • Versioning
  • Roadmap alignment
• Drive regular portfolio review and reporting to management

• Prepare and deliver decision packages to management
• Drive alignment across engineering, product, and leadership
• Ensure decisions are structured, fact-based, and timely

• Coordinate across HW / SW / EE / Product / Innovation / Suppliers
• Ensure consistency of solution direction across domains

• Master degree in electronic/electro-technic, computer science or similar course of studies
• Fluent English and Chinese is mandatory; German language knowledge is an advantage

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in automotive electronics, preferably in IVI / Cockpit / Domain Controller projects
• Proven experience in hardware or system architecture for complex ECUs, including SoC-based platforms (e.g., Qualcomm, Nvidia, etc.)
• Experience working across multiple projects or programs, with exposure to solution comparison, technical trade-offs, and cross-project alignment
• Demonstrated ability to structure complex technical topics and communicate them in a clear and logical way
• Experience in stakeholder coordination across multiple functions (HW, SW, EE, Product, Suppliers)
• Solid experience in supplier collaboration (Tier1, chipset vendors), including technical alignment and solution evaluation
• Experience in portfolio management, platform definition, or roadmap planning
• Proven track record in preparing decision materials for management (e.g., solution comparison, trade-off analysis, recommendation)
• Experience in technical leadership roles without direct authority (influencing cross-functional teams)
• Exposure to China localization projects and global collaboration setup
• Experience driving technology evaluation, PoC, or innovation topics

• Ability to structure complex technical topics into clear frameworks and options

• Strong capability in balancing cost, performance, and risk, and forming clear recommendations

• Experience in managing multi-solution, multi-project portfolios

• Influence without authority across cross-functional and global teams

• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear management-level language
