· Develop and execute monthly and weekly sales plans to achieve Nairobi Hardware Business Unit targets.
· Monitor sales performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
· Manage slow-moving inventory through clearance plans, promotions and channel distribution.
· Track sales orders from order placement to final delivery, coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams.
· Monitor accounts receivable and customer credit, including collections, overdue accounts and account reconciliation.
· Identify and acquire new customers across targeted regions and industries.
· Maintain key customer relationships and identify cross-selling and additional sales opportunities.
· Lead and supervise the sales team, including target setting, task allocation and performance monitoring.
· Conduct sales meetings, case reviews, product training, and sales skills coaching.
· Manage team attendance, discipline, performance and talent development.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient execution of sales and customer-related activities.
· Identify and implement cost-saving, process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
