The opportunity:
As an Experienced Commissioning & Service Engineer at Hitachi Ltd, you will provide expert technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for complex Hitachi products and systems directly at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
How you’ll make an impact:
You will perform installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repair of Hitachi equipment and systems, including complex hardware and software components, diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
You will conduct system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements as required, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations, provide technical guidance and training to customer personnel on the operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of Hitachi products.
You will document all service activities accurately and thoroughly, including problem descriptions, resolutions, parts used, time spent, collaborate with internal engineering, sales, and support teams to escalate complex issues and provide feedback for product improvement.
You will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication, timely service delivery, effective problem-solving, adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as customer site regulations, manage spare parts inventory, logistics for assigned service regions and participate in on-call rotations and travel extensively as needed to support customer requirements,
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Advanced diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
More than 5years of experience in HV sectors of the Electrical industry, knowledge of testing methodologies is mandatory.
Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems, control systems, and software applications, excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills and experience of the Hitachi MACH Control & Protection System is desirable.
Ability to work independently in challenging environments and manage multiple priorities effectively. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Ability to travel frequently (up to 75%) and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and colleagues.
