Due to the growth of our HVDC business, we are currently looking for our next HVDC Primary & Valve Installation Supervisor in the “Construction & Commissioning” function to participate in this energy transition.

Your Mission: Within our large scale HVDC Projects you are responsible for the Supervision of the Installation for our HVDC Valves including the Valve Cooling System. The installation will be done by subcontractors.

This position implies functional leadership as an IC (Individual Contributor) without direct reports. It is a Construction Site based role.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

1. EHS

  • Ensure all installation activities are performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

2. Quality Oversight

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of installed HVDC Valves & HVDC Primary Equipment.
  • Conduct inspections based on ITPs to verify adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare and review installation documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored

3. Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate the HVDC Primary Equipment & Valve installation activities with the Site Management Team and other internal and external stakeholders (Installation Subcontractor) on site.  
  • Providing guidance, training and support as needed to the installation subcontractor
  • Coordinate with our internal Valve manufacturing to assure needed documentation is used at site during execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process

Your Profile:

  • Technical education, preferably with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical- or mechanical installation works in large scale projects with at least 3 years experience in the relevant field.
  • Experience from Supervision or Site Management in substation, FACTS or HVDC Projects preferred.
  • Strong health and safety mindset aligned with international standards, with the ability to identify and stop unsafe work.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear verbal and written reporting (English required).
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to recommend and approve corrective actions.
