Position Type: Full Time,

As an HVAC Tune-Up Technician, you'll perform seasonal maintenance and system inspections that keep HVAC systems running efficiently and reliably, catching small problems before they turn into costly repairs. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment
  • Inspect, clean, and adjust components such as condensers, blowers, coils, and filters
  • Diagnose potential issues during tune-ups and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements
  • Educate customers on system performance, energy efficiency, and maintenance best practices, communicating clearly to build trust
  • Document work performed, system condition, and recommendations for each job
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe, clean, working condition, following EPA and HVAC safety codes
  • Assist with emergency service calls or installations as needed

Qualifications: Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of HVAC trade school or technical program preferred

Experience

  • 1-2 years of HVAC experience in maintenance, service, or related roles
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance practices

Licenses/Certifications

  • EPA Section 608 certification required; NATE certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete jobs efficiently

Physical Demands and Conditions

  • Lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods
  • Work performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights

Work Environment/Travel

  • Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial job sites
  • May require evening, weekend, or overtime shifts

Ability to pass background check and drug screening
