Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Testing Manager to lead our testing team in ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of all HVAC systems within our data centre facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of HVAC testing, from planning and execution to analysis and optimization, guaranteeing systems meet stringent design and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HVAC testing plans, schedules, and methodologies for data centre projects.
  • Lead the execution of advanced testing for critical parameters including air flow, water flow, pressure, temperature, and humidity to ensure system accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ensure all testing activities and outcomes comply with international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO) and company quality protocols.
  • Analyse test data, identify non-conformities and performance gaps, and lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to the project team on HVAC system performance, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex site issues.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the HVAC testing team, including task allocation, performance reviews, and technical training.
  • Strictly enforce and adhere to all company EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies on all test sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC testing, commissioning, or operations, with a strong focus on data centres or critical environments.
  • At least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC principles, data centre cooling architectures, and performance evaluation standards.
  • Proficient in using a wide range of HVAC test and measurement instruments, as well as data analysis software.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities and strong problem-solving skills.
