Join Our Facilities Team as an HVAC Technician!
Indian River State College is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to help maintain and repair our campus systems, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for students, staff, and visitors. In this role, you’ll work on chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems while performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. If you have proven HVAC experience, strong technical skills, and an EPA certification, we’d love to have you on our team!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires an ability to work in confined spaces above ceilings, sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, have the physical capacity of heavy lifting, and carry items occasionally in excess of fifty (50 ) pounds. This position also requires the ability to use ladders and other equipment. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
