Adams 12 Five Star schools is hiring for a HVAC Technician. The tiered pay structure below shows pay levels based on experience, skills and certifications. Your skills and qualifications will determine the grade/start rate of pay.
GRADE: G10 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 9: $22.98- $29.04) Job Code:1494
Qualification:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating manual lifts preferred. Required within (3) months of hire.
GRADE: G14 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 9: $25.36 - 32.05) Job Code:1501
Qualification:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate or degree from accredited/approved HVAC technical school preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of HVAC or similar/relevant experience required.
• Employees are expected to obtain a certificate or degree from an accredited/approved HVAC technical school within an established time-period.
GRADE: G23 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 9: $31.68 - $40.03) Job Code:1453

• Minimum of three (3) years of similar or relevant experience required.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate or degree from accredited/approved HVAC technical school required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of similar or relevant experience required.
• Current E.P.A./C.F.C. certification or the ability to obtain.
• HFO/A2L Safety Certification required.
• Boiler or Chiller certification or equivalent years of experience required.
HVAC Temperature Control Specialist
GRADE: G23 (Hourly Range/Step 1 - Step 9: $35.84 - $45.29) Job Code:1449
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Specialized technical training in BAS or DDC systems. Tridium experience preferred.
• Three years of experience in HVAC systems, building control systems, construction, building maintenance preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

SALARY INFORMATION:
All Classified positions are paid on an hourly basis. All Newly hired classified employees are placed initially on Step 1 of the pay grade for their position. Classified employees can advance an additional 7 steps (maximum Step 8) based on their previous experience. Final hourly placement on the Classified Salary schedule is dependent on the Grade Level for the position being posted and employees' previous work experience. "Grade" refers to position or job classification and "Step" refers to the number of work experience credit or service years. See our Classified Salary Schedule for hourly rates.
