Job Description

Providence Staffing is seeking experienced and dependable HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment and diagnosing mechanical system issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Service gas-fired heating systems, air conditioning units, heat pumps, freezers, and coolers.
• Maintain centrifugal and reciprocating chillers and related equipment.
• Inspect and service chilled and condenser water valves, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Diagnose HVAC and refrigeration system problems and complete necessary repairs.
• Repair or replace worn or damaged condensers, compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and related components.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating properly and efficiently.
• Safely operate HVAC tools, testing equipment, and related machinery.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and job-site requirements.
• Perform additional HVAC and facility maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC maintenance and repair experience required.
• Knowledge of commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC mechanical components and equipment.
• Experience with chillers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, and cooling systems preferred.
• Ability to safely operate HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Compensation

$19.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
