Our team is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our operations and maintenance team supporting the APLNG facility on Curtis Island.

About the role

As an HVAC Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading HVAC and refrigeration systems across a critical LNG facility. Working within a high-performing maintenance team, you'll play an important role in ensuring plant reliability, safety and operational performance.

This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled technician who enjoys problem-solving, preventative maintenance and working in a dynamic site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose faults and repair HVAC equipment including pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils and associated components.
  • Conduct inspections and condition assessments, identifying repair and replacement requirements.
  • Support work planning activities including permits, documentation, safety processes and coordination with other trades.

About You

  • Dual Trade Qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning with Restricted Electrical Licence.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • Safety-focused with experience working within permit-to-work systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
