We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC / Duct Technical Manager to lead and manage all technical aspects of ductwork and HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee design reviews, shop drawings, material submittals, and site coordination while ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local regulations.
Manage all HVAC ductwork design, fabrication, and installation activities on assigned projects.
Lead the technical team in preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and As-Built documentation.
Conduct site inspections and supervise duct installation activities, ensuring compliance with SMACNA, ASHRAE, and project-specific standards.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure HVAC systems are optimized for energy efficiency, airflow performance, and indoor air quality.
Approve materials and equipment in accordance with project standards and client requirements.
Prepare and review method statements, technical submittals, and quality control documents.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely completion of HVAC-related tasks.
Support procurement in evaluating vendor technical submittals and ensuring proper selection of HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters is a plus).
Minimum 810 years of experience in HVAC systems with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead technical role
Extensive knowledge of ducting systems, fabrication techniques, installation procedures, and related standards (SMACNA, ASHRAE).
Proficient in HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, DuctSizer), AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
Strong knowledge of local codes and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
Exceptional coordination, planning, and leadership skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
