Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
  • Install and replace HVAC equipment as the equipment ages.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and help develop HVAC maintenance programs.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with general facilities maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of HVAC experience with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems. Knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and preventive maintenance practices required.
  • Certification or license in HVAC preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders and work in mechanical spaces.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the workday.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
