Way Mechanical is a mechanical contractor located in Irving, TX. We specialize in Emergency Services, Preventative Maintenance, and SOW projects. We are seeking a self-motivated skilled Chiller Technician to join our growing Commercial Service and Maintenance group.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses HVAC, refrigeration, and performance through observation, testing, and setup
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
• Complete electronic documentation of service-related, tasks, materials, and labor hours
• Be able to explain the service charges and work performed to the satisfaction of our customers
• Maintain inventory stock on the service vehicle
• Reconcile work order documents, vendor packing slips, and weekly time sheets for supervisor review

Qualifications:

• MUST have 4+ years of Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician experience
• Ability to follow construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair
• Must have a valid EPA Card and TDLR
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Stable work history showing responsibility and professional growth
• Ability to competently use a variety of gauges, meters, measuring instruments
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and the customer.
• Clean driving records are required.
