POSITION DETAILS:This position is for a 52 week Lead Mechanic-Heating & A/C temperature Service Technician. 5 days per week at 8 hours per day. The current scheduled work times are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.SALARY:$26.36 per hour (entry level) + additional hourly stipend based on certificationBENEFITS:We continually strive to offer a high-quality, comprehensive benefits package to our employees. Additionally, EVSC also has Health & Wellness Centers that provide free primary and preventive care services to employees and their dependents covered by an EVSC group health insurance plan.
This position also offers sick and personal days as well as EVSC contributions to a retirement plan.
This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, monitoring and servicing of temperature control systems that support heating and air conditioning operations across EVSC facilities. The role ensures building comfort, system reliability and energy efficiency by proactively troubleshooting issues and coordinating service needs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school Diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience in the installation, maintenance and servicing of temperature control systems for heating and air conditioning, preferably in commercial, institutional or educational facilities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Journeyman HVAC license , Refrigerant Recovery License.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
