HVAC Service Technician (Union)

Location: Oglesby, IL

Type: Full-time permanent employment

Pay: Union pay starting at $37.00 -$52 per hour to start (DOE)+ union benefits.

We're growing and looking for motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join our team. We are looking for applicants with 3-5 years HVAC experience in a residential setting.

This position is covered under the Sheet Metal Workers Local 1 Collective Bargaining Agreement

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues.
• Service light commercial HVAC equipment as needed.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial customers.
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3- years Previous HVAC installation or service experience in a residential setting
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, or trade school experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting Wage: $27-$52 per hour DOE plus a comprehensive union benefits package.

Experienced Union Technicians: Competitive union wages based on classification and experience under the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
