The Big Task

Complete all preventive maintenance calls on HVAC systems installed by Rodenhiser. Educate customers on the status of their systems and any pertinent issues.

Key Sub Tasks

· Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.

· Know how to establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.

· Ask the right lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating, cooling and plumbing system malfunctions.

· Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.

· Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.

· Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in the field.
• Capacity to perform preventive maintenance service on HVAC systems 10 years or newer.
• Competent at checking gas pressures, sub cool, super heat, combustion tests and static pressures.
• Current Apprenticeship card/license or formal trade schooling.
• Intimate knowledge and ability to use related trade tools/equipment.

· Must have successful completion of trade related schooling or equivalent experience.

· Must have current EPA universal certificate.

· Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing and gas codes and proper electrical and HVAC safety standards.

Rodenhiser Home Services is an equal-opportunity employer committed to fair and equitable pay practices. The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000-$80,000, based on responsibilities, experience, and other relevant factors. Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other variable compensation depending on their position. Total compensation is determined through a structured review considering experience, education, certifications, and licenses.
