HVAC Sales Manager | Hillburn, NY (Gold Medal)

Are you a proven sales leader with HVAC industry experience who enjoys coaching teams and helping close business? Gold Medal is seeking an HVAC Sales Manager to lead our Hillburn, NY sales team, drive revenue growth, and develop top-performing sales professionals.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll not only manage and mentor your team but also ride along on appointments, support the sales process, and help secure new business. You'll work closely with senior leadership to develop sales strategies, monitor key performance metrics, and ensure the team consistently achieves growth and profitability goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed sales objectives.
• Support sales representatives through ride-alongs, training, and closing assistance.
• Monitor sales performance, revenue, conversion rates, and profitability metrics.
• Ensure company sales processes and operating procedures are consistently followed.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop top sales talent.
• Establish growth strategies and action plans in partnership with executive leadership.
• Hold team members accountable for weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
• Participate in customer presentations and proposals to support training and business development.
• Conduct regular branch meetings focused on sales performance and referral generation.
• Partner with Operations to strengthen lead generation and technician sales training.
• Support onboarding and development initiatives for new sales team members.
• Ensure a seamless transition of new customers to branch operations.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitive activity.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
• 4+ years of HVAC sales experience preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and consistently achieve sales goals.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with computers, internet-based applications, and sales technology.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
