What You Will Do
You will own your territory and drive growth through proactive market development and genuine relationship building.
Your responsibilities include:
- Identifying, prospecting, and converting new HVAC contractor accounts
- Spending significant time in the field, visiting contractors, job sites, and resource centers
- Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposals, closing, and follow-up
- Building trust with contractor decision-makers and key influencers
- Strengthening relationships with existing customers and increasing their business with Tropic Supply
- Developing strong product knowledge to prescribe value-driven solutions
- Maintaining accurate CRM activity to prioritize high-value opportunities
- Collaborating with Resource Center Leaders to ensure exceptional service and support
This role requires initiative, ownership, and a commitment to building long-term partnerships.

What You Bring
- Three to five years of proven B2B sales success with measurable results
- Experience selling to contractors, construction trades, or technical buyers
- A strong record of new business development and territory growth
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Knowledge of your local market and contractor landscape
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- HVAC industry experience strongly preferred
