Construction Project Manager (HVAC/Mechanical)

Location: Santa Clarita, CA (Los Angeles County, Orange County travel required)

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead mechanical/HVAC construction projects across a mix of public and private sectors. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality delivery, budget adherence, and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects including new builds, renovations, and retrofits
• Review plans, estimates, and proposals to ensure project accuracy and feasibility
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Coordinate with GCs, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Oversee contract administration, negotiations, and financial performance
• Provide regular project updates and resolve issues proactively
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with plans, safety standards, and regulations
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction project management experience
• Experience in HVAC/mechanical construction strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction documents and processes
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple priorities
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
