What You Will Do

As part of our Global Marine and Navy business, you will ensure HVAC/R projects meet agreed timelines and margins while minimising design and build costs, errors, and omissions.

You will provide essential commercial and design support across a range of projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. This includes producing technical deliverables, liaising with clients, managing engineering changes, and acting as the onshore focal point for offshore teams. You will lead project briefings and communicate challenges or concerns to clients throughout the project lifecycle.

How You Will Do It

  • Liaisewith clients, end users, subcontractors, and internal teams on all technical matters relating to HVAC/R system design

  • Preparework scope specifications

  • Conductonsite surveys to determine work scopes (1-2 times per month)

  • Design and analyseHVAC/R systems (refrigerated and water based) in line with company standards

  • Applyknowledge of relevant HVAC/R codes and standards (e.g., F Gas, BS)

  • Ensureprojects meet milestones and targeted margins

  • Coordinatewith project engineering disciplines to deliver high quality, efficient work

  • Supportdesign, supply, installation, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems onshore and offshore

  • Manageprocurement, expediting, and delivery of labour and materials

  • Ensureall certification and QA/QC requirements are met

  • ProduceQHSE documentation, including quantitative and qualitative risk assessments

  • Participatein SIL, HAZID, and HAZOP studies

  • Overseeprojects from survey and design through to completion, including offshore supervision

  • Produce and trackproject documentation in line with client SDRLs

  • Prepare and presentcommercial bids and tenders

What We Look For

  • RelevantHVAC/R experience

  • Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline

  • BSc/BEng in an Engineering discipline (desirable)

Essential

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Ability to obtain SC UK MOD Security Clearance (screening provided by JCI)
