Step into a key role as an HVAC Parts Sales and Shipping Associate with a global leader in climate control products, where your expertise in parts sales and logistics will make a difference.

This seasonal position based in Bedford Park, IL supports a leading HVAC manufacturing and distribution company by assisting customers with parts sales, managing shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining inventory. The role offers a $20.00 hourly rate and a schedule from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering phones and providing parts lookup and sales support.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend HVAC products and services under supervision.
• Ensure accurate stocking of Lennox-branded and other HVAC-related products.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including unloading deliveries.
• Operate a forklift occasionally (2-3 times per week) as part of shipping/receiving duties.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers.
• Comply with all safety, health, security, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in counter sales.
• Computer skills for parts lookup and order processing.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• General HVAC knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift skills (low use).
